American National Standard Pipe Thread standards, often called national pipe thread standards for short, are US national technical standards for screw threads used on threaded pipes and pipe fittings. They include both tapered and straight thread series for various purposes including rigidity, pressure-tight sealing, or both.

American Petroleum Institute approved extended male thread.

JIC fittings, defined by the SAE J514 and MIL-F-18866 standards, are a type of flare fitting machined with a 37-degree flare seating surface. JIC (Joint Industry Council) fittings are widely used in fuel delivery and fluid power applications, especially where high pressure (up to 10,000 psi) is involved.

ORFS offers excellent leak protection. The male fitting has a straight thread and O-ring in the face. The female has a straight thread and a machined flat face. The seal takes places by compressing the O-ring onto the flat face of the female, similar to a split flange fitting. The threads hold the connection mechanically.

SAE O-ring boss fittings use straight thread and an O-ring (of either Buna N or Viton material, depending on the type of hydraulic fluid) to create a seal between the male and female fitting. Compression of the male fitting O-ring into the female chamfer cone seat creates a strong leak proof connection. SAE ORB adapter fittings are an excellent choice for medium and high pressure applications.

SAE Flanges is a range of high pressure hydraulic flange which is made in accordance to SAE J518 standards. The acronym SAE stands for Society of Automotive Engineers. These flanges are used on oil hydraulic systems in many fields (shipbuilding, mobile hydraulic equipment, machine tools, earth moving machines, etc… ) and where there is passage of oil under pressure.

SAE is Society of Automotive engineers. These fittings are commonly used in refrigeration, automotive and low pressure applications.

SAE male has 45° flare which seals against 45° seat in female. Male can also seal against 45° flared tubing with nut and sleeve. 7/16 - 20, 1/2 - 20, 3/4 - 16 & 7/8 - 14 are the same thread form as JIC 37° flare. some fittings in these sizes have both JIC 37° & SAE 45° seats.

The new CROCBITE system uses a segmented flexible “CROCTAIL”
that fully engages the circumference of the connector, ensuring maximum possible holding, and delivering increased safety for personnel.

CROCBITE female connectors will accept standard DIN 20043 male connectors in sizes DN10 – DN20.This system has been thoroughly evaluated, and has been extensively tested at 1.33 x 420 Bar (560 Bar) to a minimum of 1 million cycles.

DKOL is DICHT KEGEL O RING LEICHT – Metric Light O Ring Series 24° Cone.

DKS is DICHT KEGEL SCHWER - Metric Heavy Series 24° Cone.

The Japanese Industrial Standard fitting 30° is similar to the SAE 37° flare connection. However, the flare angle and dimensions are different. The threads are similar to BSPP.
